Katy Perry Inspired look from TGIF
It's been months since I've posted and that's because of some big changes in my life. I recently moved to Florida! So I went from the north east to the south east. I love it here! Check out the pics for my look. I used the Coastal Scent Pallet for all the eyeshadow colors, LA Girl Semi-Permanent black eye pencil, wet n wild sky blue eye pencil and and the new Maybeline Volume Express one by one mascara. Click on the list to go to the official website for the products used for the look.

Hard Candy & Color Concept
Last night I bought two new eyeshadows from Walmart by Hard Candy. They are part of the baked eyeshadow collection. The first one to catch my eye was "Supernova" and it's a dark purple-ish black with baked magenta sparkles in it. Talk about fun.... The next one was "Lunar Eclipse" and it's a pewter color with baked golden-silvery sparkles in it. Essentially it reminds me of a pyrite rock. These were both $6 and a great addition to my collection. (I don't know why, but these photos appear dull after I uploaded them... if anyone knows how to fix that please let me know :) )
Color Concept Set
The second find I want to share with you all, was a set that I purchased from CVS for... and get this.. $4.99!!! I know you're probably thinking what I thought, for that price it's probably a lot of junk. I hate to say it, but I was totally wrong! It came with 4 nail polishes, 16 eye shadow shades, 2 lip glosses, 2 black eyeliner pencils and 1 pencil sharpener. The shadows are very pigmented and they all go on extremely smooth. Gorgeous. The lip glosses are NOT sticky. (I hate sticky lip gloss) The shades are very pretty as well. One is in a muted berry color and the other is more of a neutral. Definitely a pleasant surprise... I'm wearing it right now as I type this and it's still smooth and it's been on for an hour. The two pencil are black with just the right amount of firmness for a eye pencil. The pencil sharpener is very sharp and I used it to sharpen all my eyeliners that I own. Overall, for $4.99 I'd say it was an awesome find. Check out the photos. Leave comments and/or questions. Thanks for reading!

Extension fun, Frostbite and eye makeup
Today I have 3 things to share with you all. Lets get started because I don't like reading a lot of gibberish myself, so I'm going to keep it to the point.
1. I can not say enough about how awesome I think clip-in hair extensions are. I have blonde hair, but some days I want to mix it up. Today I used my TiGi waver and a 2 tone blonde/brown extension with my regular blonde extensions. This is one of the easiest ways to change up your look without doing anything permanent! I included a photo of the back, as you can see, none of the clips show. I think I'll be rocking this for a while. I love it!

2. China Glaze "Frostbite" is a gorgeous royal blue color. My dad isn't big on bright colors, but he actually commented that he liked this color a lot. Shocking. Take a look:
Now, because I was impatient and didn't wait for it to fully dry, I smudged a few nails. BOOOOO. SOO, here's a great tip for you who own a shatter polish. If something goes awry with your nails, keep that shatter polish on hand because A) It will cover any mistake that you have and B) It dries VERY quickly. I keep the black bottle in my purse all the time for this very reason. Plus if you get bored with the color on your nails, you can put the shatter over it making your manicure last longer and it changes it up without having to start from scratch.
Rush Top Coat-Dries very quickly and it's only $3 @ Sally Beauty
3. Eye look using purples. Using only 3 items I achieved this look. It's very simple and quick to do.
Products: NYX Pigement in True Purple Pearl, Physicians Formula gel liner in purple (came in a trio stack), and Cover girl lash blast fusion.
Please leave comments or check one of the boxes below the post. I would love to hear from my readers! :)

China Glaze Lightning Bolt and OPI Black Shatter
Here are a couple of photos of the new crackle polishes that can not be kept in stock because they are
a-maz-ing. If you are looking for something to switch up a dull manicure, you will definitely want to consider purchasing one of these fabulous top coats. China Glaze has several colors and OPI only has black shatter at this point. The black shatter retails @ $12.50, however if you shop around on ebay or other sites, you can find it for less, or in a duo with Serena Williams Glam Slam Simply Smashing for around $20.

HUGE Makeup Haul Coming.... via CherryCulture.com
I love cherryculture.com . This website has products that are carried in some drug stores, but not all. My favorite part is that shipping is free on orders over $40 and they are always having promotions and insane sales. I can get an eyeshadow palette with at least 10-12 colors for $2.99!! And then get 20% off of that when there is a promo. Currently there is a promo going on right now, so if you read this, go to the site before midnight and save, save, save.
Today I ordered 20 new items: loose pigments, liquid eyeliner, eyeshadow primer, concealer, eyeshadow and liquid foundation. I'm a fan of Amuse and nyx products so this was a chance to stock up. I'm also curious as to how the Jordanna loose pigments are. The colors look vivid and fun, but I won't know until I get them. With these unknown products being only $1.99, I couldn't resist.
Check it out girls, www.cherryculture.com !!!

Deep Waver-Amazing product

I purchased this TiGi Bed Head Helen of Troy deep waver it it is AMAZING!!! It heats up extremely fast and it creates these amazing deep waves and it does not take long to complete the entire head using this tool. If you are looking to have those effortless beach waves then you want to spend $40 max on this item. I purchased mine off ebay for $25 + $5 shipping and it was at my front door in two days.
So if you're looking for voluminous hair that lasts for 2 days this is something you'll want to get. To keep your hair smelling fresh you can also invest the $4 in TRESemme Fresh Start refreshing mist. It's part of the dry shampoo collection offered in stores.

Hair Extensions-Surprise!
Hello ladies! For some time now I have been wearing hair extensions and I LOVE THEM! For any of you who think they are dumb, you should probably check yourself. I hate to say it and it may rock your world, but all those celebs out there with that long gorgeous hair.. newsflash... it's not theirs!!!
Okay, so now that you've recovered from that world shattering news, I'd like to give you my take on clip in hair extensions. The reason why I am such a fan of them is because I don't have to wear them every day and they are super easy to use. You just clip them in and off you go. I have used Sassy hair purchased at Sally Beauty for $49.99 and made my own (yes, it's that easy) and I have purchased more expensive extensions from Europe called Foxy Locks Extensions for over $100.00. I do find a difference in quality of hair the more expensive they get, but paying around $130.00 for hair is still far less expensive them getting more permanent, damaging extensions in your hair. Long term extensions can cost over $500.00 and I think I'm being kind when I even say that amount. There is still maintenance and styling costs associated with those, plus the purchase of the actual hair.
I say all this to employ you not to judge girls who wear hair extensions. It's no different then coloring your hair hot pink or wearing a whig. Who cares if girls wear this stuff? If it makes you feel beautiful as a woman and it's not hurting anyone, then all the power to you!
So if you have thin hair or if your hair just takes far to long to grow out, consider hair extensions. They come in so many lengths and colors. Have fun with it and don't care what other people think.

These are Foxy Locks Extensions which can be purchases at www.foxylocksextensions.com

Newest Neon Addition

I recently purchased Nina Ultra Pro "Solar Flare". It is a neon yellow and it looks amazing! For a matte finish, leave off the top coat. If you want a shiny finish used your favorite top coat. :) Enjoy!
