Moving to Deland!!!

This whole journey of this stupid house has gone from promising to complete dissapointment.  Our short sale did not go through and our foreclosure did.  Although the plan is for me to buy a house, we need to move into a temporary location until we find the right one.  Even though I hate the idea of wasting money on rent, I do need to go to work and live and for now renting is our only option. I will say that somewhat of a divine intervention has occurred and a place literally fell into our laps and its an older home (built in the 50's), but the gentlman said that we can keep our dogs and as long as we pay in cash we can move in asap.  Tomorrow we will be giving him the cash and getting the keys. I can't wait to take pictures and show you how I will be transforming this old little block house.   Its definitely going to be an adjustmeng from our 3 br 1.5 bath house that is newer, but we have to do what works for us now.  Having been through this entire process I would strongly urge all of you never to judge anyone who has lost their home who is working and just can't seem to make the payments.  The government is all about giving out money to people who won't work, keep having babies, and all out lazy people, but they do not help those that can truly use it.  We are those people. We tried to work with the bank and we tried to get assistance however, we are too "wealthy".  It's really sad to see how corrupt and unbalanced society is. Those that need the help and those that believe that they are entitled to it.

So now here we are. We are embracing that we have to down size, move into a less than perfect house,  and make due with what we have. I am a firm believer that things will work out, because they always do, but for now its all about trying not to get stressed out in having to get all of our stuff over to the new place in a merely two weeks with both of us working full time.  I just don't know how I'm going to do it, but I am.  It's going to be late nights and lots of coffee!

Here's to embracing this journey.
